Anna Estrada has been teaching voice, text, and acting for several years in different schools in Catalonia. She has taught workshops of movement/voice/acting in the international summer school of San Miniato (Italy), the Academy of Arts in Turku (Finland), and l'Escola de Expressio de Barcelona, among others. Anna's research group won an Institut del Teatre prize to perform Potser Somniar (Perchance to Dream), a piece that she wrote and directed. As a professional actress she has worked with Irene Pappas in Medea in the Greek Festival in Barcelona, and was directed by Pavel Khomsky, Director of the Mossovet Theatre Company, in the lead female role in The White Guard. She played Electra in Mourning Becomes Electra at the Theatre Lliure, and has worked with Calixto Bieito in other works. As a professional director, her The Winters Tale opened the season of Sala Beckett in Barcelona, and Perchance to Dream was in the Festival Shakespeare de Sta. Susanna.
