After almost 20 years as a professional actor, Ashleigh found her true passion in the world of voice and speech. She holds a B.F.A in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory (Summa Cum Laude) and a M.F.A. in Voice Pedagogy from the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. She serves as lecturer for Vocal Production with the Harvard Summer School, and is a Teaching Assistant for Harvard Extension School, assisting with Public Speaking, Acting and Directing classes. She has taught for Harvard University, The American Repertory Theater, Lyric Stage, The Boston Conservatory and the Moscow Art Theater School. Coaching credits include Intimate Apparel at Brandeis directed by Jacqui Parker, Witness Uganda directed by Diane Paulus, The Light Princess directed by Allegra Libonati, as well as multiple productions with the Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University.
Ashleigh is also an experienced Yoga teacher and is completing her 500 hour advanced certification with the Kripalu Institute in Lenox, MA. She holds designation as a Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework and is a proud member of VASTA and Actor's Equity Association.
