Diane Carey is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She is currently a fulltime lecturer at Queensborough Community College in the Speech Communication and Theatre Arts Department, where she teaches English pronunciation to English Language Learners and Foreign Nursing students, Public Speaking, and Vocal Production and Movement for the Actor based on Fitzmaurice Voicework. Dee Dee maintains a private practice, and works for Visiting Nurse Service of New York and Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach NY, treating patients with an array of diagnoses, with whom she incorporates Fitzmaurice Voicework to improve speech production while addressing respiration and phonation deficits. In addition, Dee Dee performs as a Liturgical Dancer and is trained in Dahn Yoga.
