Francesca Vadell combines her career as an actress with pedagogical activity. She has taught Acting and Voice in different schools in Catalonia and Mallorca (Escola Municipal de Teatre). She also teaches Voice and speech to undergraduate students and professional actors in Barcelona and Mallorca. She studied drama in Italy (San Miniato) in 2009 and she won a Research Award from the Institut del Teatre in 2011 to study Fitzmaurice Voicework® in New York. Francesca has worked as an actress in ‘Produccions de Ferro’, ‘La Fornal’ (Mallorca), ‘Tau Teatre’ and with ‘Retret Teatre’ (Barcelona). She is the founder of Retret Teatre in Barcelona and of Tau Teatre in Mallorca. Francesca also has worked in television and now is performing as a storyteller, bringing popular literature and culture to children. Her most recent roles as an actress are Lady Anne in Shakespeare’s 'Richard III' and Corinne in 'The Country' by Martin Crimp.
