Ginger is fascinated with how we open breath, deepen awareness of sensation and impulse, and fill out range--to create gorgeous presence and communication of self, thought and language.
Ginger is a professional actor and teacher of voice & accents for theatre and film. Verse and new plays/creations are her great affection. Coaching credits include New York Theatre Workshop (Red Dog Howls, starring Kathleen Chalfant), Brotherhood (Showtime), Ripe Time (NY), Trinity Repertory Company, Making Books Sing (NY), independent projects and private students. Teaching since 2005, she has been on faculty at at Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA, NYU/Tisch at Atlantic Acting School, NYU/Playwrights Horizons Theater School (mentored by Francine Zerfas, Associate Teacher of FV), New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts & ACTeen. She has performed with The Public Theater, The Kennedy Center, Trinity Repertory Company, Marin Theater Company, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, LaMama, Clubbed Thumb, Ars Nova, the Women's Project, and Guerrilla Shakespeare Project.
