Kris Danford specializes in voice and speech as well as singing for musical theatre. Kris is Assistant Professor of Voice and Speech at Southern Oregon University. She was Visiting Assistant Professor Voice and speech at The University of Iowa, working with Graduate and undergraduate students and was head of the BFA Musical Theatre program at The University of West Florida. She received her MFA in Acting from the FSU Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training and has performed in New York and regionally in both straight and musical theatre. In addition to teaching, she continues to act and coach professionally. Kris is a member of VASTA and Actors Equity Association.
