Marta Rosell is an actress, singer and puppeteer who combines her career with pedagogical activity. She has tought voice in Lleida (Aula Municipal de Teatre) and coaches voice and movement to some professional and non-professional actors. She works as an actress and puppeteer for the Opera House from Barcelona (Gran Teatre del Liceu) in operas adapted for children, such as “Cinderella”, “Alegro Vivace”, “Els músics de Bremen”. She has also worked in “Cuttlas, anatomia d’un pistoler”, an adult musical puppet show which has taken part in several International Festivals such as “Festibal Mundial des theatre de Marionettes- Charleville-Mézières” and “Festibal de Teatro Iberoamericano de Bogotà”. Marta has been part of the company “Centre de Titelles” for ten years where she has worked with the “Catalan National Theatre” with the puppet children’s opera “ Hansel i Gretel”, and at the Palau de la Musica Catalana as a singer-puppeteer in the children’s show “Jan Titella”. Marta got her BFA at Institut del Teatre in Musical Theatre, and then continued her training in acting with the Russian directors Nikolaj Karpov (biomechanics) and Anatoli Vassiliev, and in movement and contemporary & modern dance with Anne Dennis, Kari Margolis, Carles Salas, Aixa Guerra, and continued her explorations in the voice world with other voice tecniques such as Linklater with Christine Adaire , “Jo Estill “ with Viv Manning and Alexandra Morales, and classical singing with Mar Carrero.
