Micha Espinosa is an Arizona-based artist, activist, teacher, and voice, speech, and dialect coach. She has performed, lectured, and taught voice and speech around the world since 1992. She is a proud 30-year member of SAG/AFTRA and has performed in film, television, and regional theatre. Associate Professor (BFA, Stephens College; MFA Acting, U.C. San Diego) of Voice/Acting at Arizona State University; master teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework (FV) /trainer for the FV Teacher Certification/ Director of Diversity for FV Institute; a certified yoga instructor; and a Fulbright Specialist. Award winning editor for the book Monologues for Latino Actors: A Resource Guide to the Contemporary Latino/a Playwrights. An affiliate artist with renowned international performance troupe La Pocha Nostra; program coordinator/teaching artist for actor training program - Bali Taksu in Bali, Indonesia. She is passionate about social justice in actor training, global perspectives, and the cultural voice.
