Adriano Cabral is the Assistant Professor of Acting at the University of Nevada, Reno where he teaches acting, voice, movement, speech, and musical theatre performance. He has taught at the University of West Georgia, Arizona State University, New School for Arts and Academics, and presented work at numerous conferences (VASTA, ATHE, SAA, F&F, and KCACTF). Cabral has served as actor, director, vocal coach, and dialect director/designer on numerous academic productions. He continues to offer private lessons in voice, singing, speech, and acting. Cabral is the Director of Technology for the Voice and Speech Trainer’s Association (VASTA) and a certified Second Degree Reiki Healer currently working on certifications in Knight-Thompson Speechwork, Lessac Technique, and Yoga. As an actor, Adriano has performed/trained around the globe in USA, Japan, Colombia, and Indonesia. Cabral is a founding member of the Southwest Voice Institute.
