Kim “Gunther” Jensen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Ashland, Oregon. Prior to the entering the mental health and recovery field, he taught acting, improvisation, voice and dialects at the college level for 19 years. He also acted in the film and television industry for 20 years. Gunther studied acting with W. Duncan Ross, Stephen Book, Anna Deveare Smith, Howard Fine, Uta Hagen, and Robert Cohen. As a therapist, he works with clients wanting to realize their full potential in relationships and as human beings. He has developed a workshop Trauma Drama that aids clients in processing trauma, grief and loss through drama narrative, improvisation, CBT and Fitzmaurice Voice interventions. He is certified in Trauma Focused CBT, Seeking Safety for co-occurring disorders and is active in working with clients in recovery.
