As an Assistant Professor of Theater at Central Michigan University, he authored and directed "Men, Women and Ghosts," a Narrative Theater performance compiled from ghost stories by Shirley Jackson, Amy Lowell, Elia Wilkinson Peattie, and Edith Wharton for the Riecker Literary Series. He also appeared as Mark Twain in their productions of "The World According to Twain: Accounts, Tales, And Yarns" and as James in "The Moment of Your Being," both created and compiled by Jill Taft-Kaufman.
