In addition to his teaching of Fitzmaurice Voicework, other study which informs his teaching includes Knight-Thompson Speechwork and Body-Mind Centering. A member of Actors' Equity Association since 1981, recent professional work includes performances in The Mystery of Irma Vep and The Illusion at the Triad Stage in Greensboro, and Jude the Obscure at The Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh, as well as dialect coaching The Seafarer, Pentecost, The Prisoner's Dilemma, St. Nicholas, and Limbo at the latter. He has also performed with The Riverside Shakespeare Company (NYC), The Arizona Theatre Company, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, among others.
