Tanera Marshall is Associate Professor of Theatre in the University of Illinois at Chicago’s BFA program, and a voice and accents specialist in theatre, TV, and film. In addition to Fitzmaurice Voicework, Tanera has studied with Kristin Linklater, Patsy Rodenburg, members of the Roy Hart theatre, and the SITI company. Credits include The Brutalist, “The Bear,”  “Chicago Fire,” Hunger Games (coming Nov ‘23), Asteroid City (June ’23), Widows, Queen & Slim, “Fargo, s. 4” “Station Eleven,” Army of the Dead, Public Enemies, The Immigrant, the Divergent series, American Honey, and first national B’way tours of Billy Elliot and Hamilton. as well as dozens of productions at UIC and professional stages in Chicago.

She is a Senior Editor-at-Large at The International Dialects of English Archive, and a recipient of the prestigious University of Illinois Scholars Award.
