Agnes Windram is a Psychotherapist (Focusing, Bioenergetics Analysis), Life Coach (V. Satir approach), and a Body Awareness Practitioner (Feldenkrais and QiGong). She is currently training groups in South America for a certification as coach in personal growth and social change with the V. Satir Institute and mentoring people with a practice in body awareness. She worked at Naropa University where she taught Trauma-informed Counseling and Body Psychotherapy to the Master students of the Clinical Counseling Program. She has been working for many years as a counselor with teen mothers and their children in Colorado and is volunteering as a music and expressive arts therapist with an online association for the elderly in California.
Her profound interest in the role of the body and the voice led her to study bodywork techniques like Feldenkrais, QiGong, 5 Rhythms, Playback Theatre, Bioenergetics, and Focusing (a technique developed by Eugene Gendlin that increases an embodied connection to our feelings). On a personal level, her interest in the voice and the living arts brought her to do workshops at the Roy Hart Center (voice) with Noah Pikes and David Goldworthy, at Nose to Nose (clowning) with Vivian Gladwell, and at the Movement Theater Studio (Jacques Lecoq technique and Character mask) with Richard Crawford and Norman Taylor, and with the New York Playback Theatre Company with Jo Salas, Mizuho Kanazawa, Leticia Nieto, and Ricardo Pérez González.

Focusing Expressive Arts Therapist (International Focusing Institute, NY), Traumatologist (Traumatology Institute, Toronto), Outreach Movement Facilitator (5 Rhythms, CA), Playback Theatre Conductor (NYPBT, NY) .
