My four-decade career in the theatre began with some of the best teachers in America – Sanford Robbins, Jewel Walker, Leslie Reidel, Susan Sweeney, and Penelope Court, the first person to teach Fitzmaurice Voiceworks outside of Catherine’s personal sphere. Early career highlights include engagements at DPI in Kansas City, the Utah Shakespearean Festival, national tours with the Great American Children’s Theatre, and roles performed with nearly every professional theatre in Milwaukee. The joy of my life has been working alongside my wife Jane, as Artistic Director of In Tandem Theatre, Inc. for twenty-one seasons, from 1998 to 2019. Since then I have been pursuing a new career in academia. I am a proud member, in good standing, of Actor’s Equity Association.
