Gregor Geč graduated in 1997 from the Academy of Theater, Radio, Film and Television at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. From 1997 to 2007 he was a member of the acting ensemble of the SSG (Slovenian Civic Theater) in Trieste, Italy. He has worked with most of the institutional theaters in Slovenia and collaborated with various theaters abroad. In cooperation with renowned directors, he has created more than 50 roles from the classical and modern theater repertoire. Since 2007 he has been a freelance actor, theater pedagogue, mentor, director and fairy tale writer. He currently works with various theater groups, from children to adults, in Slovenia and beyond. For many years he has also collaborated with RAI (Italy) as a writer, presenter, actor and director of radio plays. His artistic research and work is based on authenticity, presence, liveliness and playful, thorough exploration of artistic material.
