An award-winning stage and screen actor, Janice’s performing career spans over 30 years. In Singapore, she has collaborated and worked with major theatre companies, including Wild Rice, Pangdemonium, Singapore Repertory Theatre, T:Works, and The Theatre Practice. Her productions have toured widely to international festivals and venues in Japan, Edinburgh, Berlin, France and the UK. On screen, her more notable projects include Warner Brothers’ blockbuster hit, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’. She has starred in over 30 television series in Singapore, and was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for ‘The Teenage Textbook’, and for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in ‘The Pupil’ at the Asian Television Awards.
Janice is a sought after facilitator and corporate trainer, and has delivered workshops on leadership, communication, feedback and coaching skills to many leading multinational firms for over 15 years, including Goldman Sachs, VISA, Unilever, UBS and GIC.
From 2012 to 2014, Janice served as a Nominated Member of Parliament, passionately championing the arts and creative sectors in Singapore. She is the current Co-Chair of one of Singapore’s leading theatre companies, Wild Rice. In recognition of her vital contributions to the arts, Janice was conferred the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of Arts and Letters) by the French government in 2022. She is also a recipient of the National University of Singapore’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
