Most recently Marilyn served as the Director of WET ONSTAGE at WET Design in Burbank CA working with designers and executives in business communication and presentation skills. Marilyn served as Assistant Professor at the University of Utah with the Music Theatre Program, as well as visiting adjunct in voice, speech, and acting at Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Marilyn taught Fitzmaurice Voicework® at Rose Bruford and ArtsEd in London.

As an actress and singer, Marilyn’s professional resume includes dramatic plays, opera, cabaret, concerts, Shakespeare, and musicals. Highlights include leading roles on Broadway in Phantom of the Opera and Gypsy as well as the national tour of WICKED. Marilyn was also a member of the Arena Stage acting company in Washington DC.

Degrees & Institutions: Education: MFA with Distinction in Voice Studies from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Graduate studies in voice/speech pedagogy at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond. Two-year Certificate Program from the American Conservatory Theater in actor training, San Francisco. BFA in Acting from the University of Utah. Certification in Colaianni Speech. Also, extensive workshop experience with Linklater and Chekhov techniques, as well as with Merry Conway and Joan Melton.
