Teresa Spencer is a Baltimore-Washington area actor, writer, and voice and dialect coach. She is the author of the comedic collection TOO LIKE THE LIGHTNING: PROSE POEMS TO MY ALMOST LOVES, a company member with the DC dance-music-theatre ensemble Taffety Punk Theatre Company, and a resident artist with Cincinnati-based multimedia arts company Walterhoope.

Teresa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre Arts at Towson University and holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting at the George Washington University. She is a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork® and Fitzmaurice Voicework®, a Society of American Fight Directors Advanced Actor Combatant, and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher.
